The annual New Year Ninety Chart will start on the 1st January in batches of ten and I hope you find some bands of interest, you may have missed first time round. Band of the Month The top ten will published on 1st December and votes will go in to the mix of 6 variables each weighted to determine the final chart final position, your vote carries the most weight. You are welcome to vote for any band you wish, including those not on the site, but for now here is the list of the top 20 contenders for the band of the month chart in Alphabetical order. More     Help Your Band 'GetBooked' Hear It Local just announced GetBooked, a new Facebook application offering the first Direct to Fan booking platform for Independent Music. GetBooked makes it easy for fans to find, fund and book the musicians they "like" on Facebook for house concerts and private events. Independent musicians will now be able to use GetBooked to inspire and facilitate the fan booking and payment process right from their Facebook page. More     YouTube Free 'Creator Playbook' Despite being a powerhouse in delivering the world's visual and audio content, YouTube still goes underutilized by a number of artists and music professionals. It's not that their content isn't on the platform; instead most are not taking the time to learn how to effectively navigate its inner workings in order to ensure their content is best optimized for views and shares.
